Friendly, professional staff. The Thermal facilities are amazing, and the therapists really knows their stuff
A big shame that they didn't have wireless in the rooms.

An incredible rude receptionist destroyed our stay. After a not very pleasant welcome, I called down to tell them that it was a half drunk bottle of water in my minibar, but the receptionist said twice that he didn't believe me! He eventually said he could bring us another bottle but it never came. When I called down to find out how to open the door to our terrasse (very hard to open) the same man said in a rude manner; "just use your fingers". Even if the stay could have been nice because of the location, the lay out of the rooms, the food and the spa, we hate to pay 150 euros per night only to be insulted by the front desk. Some people just treat you as dirt and behave like they are a king an you there humble servant. Don't go there!

I really enjoyed the ocean view from my hotel room. the beach was just a few steps away from my room, and the private beach chairs provided were a great touch. There were also some delicious restaurants nearby that served amazing seafood.
I was annoyed by the constant pigeon attacks during breakfast. the hotel's outdoor seating area was swarming with pigeons that would constantly try to steal our food.

The Spa was very nice, the rooms are comfortable, staff were friendly and location is excellent.
The park view rooms are a bit noisy on work days because of the road and train tracks that are just behind.

Friendly, English speaking staff; excellent location, big and comfortable room with a sea view, very comfortable beds. Очень приветливый персонал, замечательный большой номер, очень удобные кровати. Ну и конечно прекрасный вид на море, отель расположен на пляже. В трех минутах ходьбы станция ж/д, до центра Барселоны 45 минут.
Poor breakfast, spa works till 9p.m., very strange cleaning: 3 times there were no towels in our room. Bar was rented for two nights, it was very noisy.

First, the staff! Always ready to help you in various languages (Spanish, English or French). We had a seaside hotel room and it was absolutly perfect! The hotel is very calm (few children and you barely hear the trains in the rooms - don't know for the mountain side rooms though). Caldes d'Estrac is located 6 or 7 km from Mataro supermarket which provides more than what you could need. Finally, the trains to Barcelona (around 3.5 €/pers) are perfect should you wish to visit the city without going by car. The hotel restaurant is a bit expensive but one should try one of the small restaurant of the city which are much more affordable and delicious. On the other hand, the breakfast buffet was spectacular!
Internet connection is slow at best, if in fact you can connect at all... TV screens... old ones...

Very relaxing location, right on the beach. Some very nice restaurants in the area. The hotel has it's own private beach in front with sun beds. There is a path that goes all along the beach, where you can walk around, there are a couple of cute restaurants on the way. The spa is amazing, never crowded and has a sauna, turkish bath and a thermal pool with jets. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is very good!
Amazing, apart from having breakfast outside where pigeons would attack your food.
